“The street food was absolutely lovely—I really enjoyed it. Our tour guide gave excellent explanations, and I appreciated the insights along the way. However, I wouldn’t recommend following their food shopping suggestions. We ended up spending over €50 on items they pointed us to, only to realize later at the airport duty-free that many of the same things were much cheaper. For example, we bought a tiny bottle of truffle for €28, only to see the same size at duty-free for just €15. It was a bit frustrating, but a good lesson learned: enjoy the local street food, but be cautious with the “recommended” purchases.”

He brought Fanta and cookies just for them, which made them feel welcome and included right from the start. At the drinking fountain, he turned a small moment into a memorable one – encouraging our son to try it, cheering him on when he got soaked: “Only real gladiators drink like that!” The tour was relaxed, well-paced, and full of great food. Marco struck the perfect balance between entertaining and informative. Highly recommended!”
